All lives matter

People in USA and in many countries around the world are expressing their anger against the inhuman killing of a black man George Floyd by a white man. This is unjust and against all laws. Peaceful protest is the right of all human being, no matter where they are living and no matter where this unjust incident happens, not as an accident, or as a result of anger or revenge but by deliberate action by an educated law enforcement officer of the most powerful and supposed to be civilized country of the world. Law officers are public servants and are given the responsibility to protect them and not murder them. If there is a probable cause for suspecting that a crime has been committed or will be committed they should arrest the person and take him or her to court to be charged and tried by due process. Under no circumstances they can use excessive force that may result in death of an unarmed person. Police officers should execute a “death” sentence without a jury or a conviction. If such action is not stopped by our courts, then anybody’s life can be at risk, and people will always be living in fear. But destruction of property, and looting is unacceptable. This must be stopped. The soldiers, police should also show restraint and use measures to calm down the anger and not act in a way to add fuel to the fire.

The guilty officer and the officers who did not act fast enough to stop this killing should be also charged, and the trial should not be delayed, as justice delayed may appear to justice denied.

  1. It is very sad that at this day and age, there is that much hate and discrimination in this country. The officers who were involved in this horrific killing definitely should be brought into justice. In addition, there should be drastic changes in the judicial system in this country. Otherwise, after a few months similar incident will be repeated against another victim. We are all human being irrespective of the color of skin.
