Using 4th of July to make USA united again

Every year we celebrate the 4th of July, also known as the Independence Day with fireworks, barbecue, family re-union and parades. The tradition goes back t to the American Revolution of the 18th century to free the colonies from British Empire. On July 2nd, 1776, the Continental Congress voted in favor of independence, and two days later the delegates form the thirteen colonies adopted the Declaration of Independence, a document drafted by Thomas Jefferson.

This year while we celebrate the Independence Day we should not forget more than 130,000 Americans who died due to Covid-19 or Corona Virus. Playing the blame game will not bring back those people. No matter what our President tweets or says during the press briefing, in reply to reporters or in his election rallies to create a divided country, we should resolve today that we will free ourselves from all prejudices against people of different ethnicity, creed, color or country of origin. We will use our freedom of expression without hurting the feelings of our fellow citizens, in a way that it will unite us, rather than divide us.

We should not forget that USA has always been a source of support in all possible ways to people and countries to defend their freedom and in times of man-made or natural crises. Due to wrong foreign policies and actions in the last more than three years we have lost that image. We should resolve today to get back that image as soon as possible.
